Luisa Carbonelli

Artist, cultural historian and embroiderer

I have always been drawing and creating with textiles and fiber. For many years the focus was on knitting and sewing and in recent years it has become increasingly embroidery.

I have an education in cultural history and museology from the University of Copenhagen and have worked with project and process management in various forms. In 2019, I completed a training in free hand embroidery at Sätergläntan.

I grew up in Copenhagen and a proud Malmö resident since 2007. In addition to my own artistic projects I offer courses in textile techniques and consulting services in experience design and cultural history. I also have a strong ability to get good ideas and am usually involved in some exciting collaboration.
